Some of My Favorite Artists....
During the beginning of June 2008, here in Columbus we have a wonderful Arts Festival. We went to the Arts Festival and met some really wonderful artist's. I also saw some wonderful designs, creations and photographs that I would love to share with everyone. So I decided to create a small links area that is my tribute to the friendly and wonderfully talented artists I met this weekend. I have to say - they have inspired me!

Sandi Garris
When you visit her website you will see a quilt on her homepage. I have to say that she had this quilt displayed at the arts festival. I am not a quilt person, but when my husband turned my wheelchair and I saw this quilt - well all I could say is WOW! Her works are absolutely wonderful. They are colorful and just beautiful. And her sewing skills are bar none. I was in awe visiting her booth. So, I wanted to share this with others.
Jacob Rogers Art
Ok...now this website displays the works of Eva Rogers & Joseph Jacobs. She told us they took both of their names to come up with Jacob Rogers Art. Clever! And their works are clever as well! We had the honor of meeting this wonderfully charming lady. She designs the designs on the metal and Mr. Jacobs is behind the wood construction/pieces. Her technique is wonderful and well - intriguing to say the least. She creates these metal designs using acid. The works are beautiful in person. We couldn't leave her booth - lol lol. Both David & I were in awe with all of the pieces she was showing. And the wine bottle holders were not that heavy and smooth to the touch. You need to visit her website.
